RIGHT ON TIME

I’m pretty late with this, but the information is on time.
When I was creating this iconic cover for Harriet Tubman: Demon Slayer #6, back in 2021… penciling, drawing, painting and then shading, I gave my creative all as usual, because the final finished piece had to be as powerful as the idea and the vision that I had in my brain.

I knew that the piece would connect with folks and that it would leave a lasting memory.
I always receive nothing but love for the art, but I had no idea till about a month or two ago just how much love and real appreciation my art and the cover had earned.

Brotha Yumy of ECBACC informed me and I’m not sure if creator, David Crownson knew, but thank you for my 2 Glyph awards from 2022… Much appreciated.
